Chair work based on Pilates principles is designed to strengthen the abdominals, lower back and pelvic floor. Improves balance and strength.
This class involves fun high and low intensity moves to challenge your strength while adding stretching to improve range of motion, posture and mobility. Adding deep breathing also strengthens the lungs. Benefits of stretching include reduced muscle tension, enhanced muscular coordination, increased blood circulation, higher energy levels and it just flat out feels good. Things you will need: a solid chair, such as a sturdy kitchen chair.
