“Movement is important, no matter how old we are. It’s important for the health and function of our physical body, emotional body, mind, and spirit, as everything is connected. It is also important to practice stillness as it allows us to listen to what our body is telling us it needs.”

Yin Yoga is a practice in fluidity; becoming soft, allowing ourselves to become still, and being mindful of our breath.  It affects the deeper soft tissues of the body; tendons, ligaments, connective tissue that surrounds the internal organs, muscles and bones, etc. It allows us to maintain flexibility, freedom of movement, and longevity.

Nanette Lani Brierley is an LMT, Cranio~Sacral~SELF~Waves Therapist, Life Changes Spiritual Coach, Certified Reiki practitioner,a Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher, and has been a professional in the field of Alternative and Wholistic Practice for 23 years.

She is passionate about sharing Yin Yoga with others as “a form of self-healing through movement and stillness’ whereby individuals can learn, practice, experience, and feel the benefits of this type of yoga.
